Warm cooked bird food recipes or even prepared mixes may offer your parrot comfort as it deals with the stresses involved with having a houseful of holiday guests. After all, warm, moist food is reminiscent of being fed as a chick by mom and dad.
If you don’t really have the time or energy to cook up a nutritional concoction of whole grains, nutritious fruits and veggies, avian vets recommend Crazy Corn Cooked Bird Food, Harrison’s Birdie Bread or even Bird Food Bean Mix. Birdie Holiday Fruit Cake

Ingredients:
- 1 bag if Momma’s Birdie Bread, Original
- 3 Eggs (Shells Optional)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/4 cup Plain Yogurt
- 2 1/2 cups Goldenfeast Tropical Fruit Bird Food, II
- 4 oz. package of Pine Nuts in the Shell
- 4 oz. package of Raw Pumpkin Seeds
- 1 tsp. Pure Vegetable Oil
